Congolese singer Pson teams up with fellow Congolese artist Gally on Bébé, a romantic collaboration that brings together two recognisable voices from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The title points towards a love-centred record built around affection and romantic connection.
The collaboration fits Pson’s contemporary African music direction, with Gally adding his experience in romantic songwriting. Both artists have musical identities connected to modern Congolese sounds, making their pairing an interesting choice for a track centred on love. Their contributions give the record a shared vocal identity rather than making it a straightforward solo performance.
Bébé is the sixth track on Pson’s 10-song EP, Forgiveness, released on November 6, 2026. The project features six collaborations, including appearances from Sam Opoku, Kojo Blak, Not3s, Jey Brownie and Ya Levis. Gally’s appearance adds another Congolese voice to a project that reaches across different African music scenes.
One interesting aspect of this pairing is the connection between the two artists’ musical backgrounds. Gally has built much of his identity around love-themed songwriting, making his contribution to a romantic collaboration with Pson a natural meeting of artistic styles.
Listeners who enjoy contemporary Congolese music and romantic African collaborations will find this release particularly interesting. It also provides another opportunity to appreciate the musical connection between two artists representing the modern sound of their home country.
