Dunsin Oyekan joins renowned Christian teacher Bro Gbile Akanni and Mount Zion Films on **Wake Up**, a powerful gospel release calling believers to renewed faith, spiritual alertness and a deeper commitment to God.
The message challenges Christians not to become distracted by worldly pursuits or allow their relationship with God to grow cold. It draws attention to the danger of mixing spiritual devotion with worldly desires, reminding believers to return to their first love and remain committed to their calling. The repeated call to wake up serves as an encouragement to rise from spiritual complacency and allow Christ’s light to shine through their lives.
Released on November 5, 2026, the song features Dunsin Oyekan’s gospel ministry alongside Bro Gbile Akanni’s biblical teaching. Mount Zion Films also contributes through a dramatic music video that uses Christian storytelling to communicate the song’s message.
One particularly striking aspect of the release is its warning about becoming so occupied with life’s blessings that the Giver is gradually forgotten. The accompanying drama illustrates how people can lose their spiritual priorities while pursuing success, work and personal achievements. This makes the message relevant to believers navigating everyday responsibilities.
Dunsin Oyekan, Bro Gbile Akanni and Mount Zion Films present a timely reminder for the Christian community to renew its devotion and remain spiritually prepared. **Wake Up** encourages listeners to return to God, restore their spiritual passion and let their lives reflect the light of Christ.
